Franchising and distribution team joins Leeway.

We’re very excited to welcome Tessa de Mönnink (partner) & Anna van Essen (counsel) to Leeway Advocaten as of 1 January 2026!

Tessa is widely regarded as one of the leading experts in distribution, franchising and commercial contracts, not only in the Netherlands but across Europe. She was recently named Best Franchise Service Provider in Europe by the European Franchise Federation.

Anna brings deep experience in distribution, franchise law and commercial contracts, combined with a strong background in IP and media law – a natural match with Leeway’s existing strengths. 

Tessa and Anna have worked together for many years, advising leading brands across sectors including retail, fashion, food & beverage, and healthcare.

Their arrival marks another exciting step in Leeway’s growth and strengthens our position as a leading and specialist firm for  ambitious, international brands.
